Theatrum Bar & Food was one of the highlights of our time in Split. Located right in the city center across from the Croatian National Theatre, it offers a fantastic atmosphere that combines modern style with a relaxed Mediterranean vibe. The food was excellent, with generous portions, fresh ingredients, and great attention to detail. Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or cocktails, there is something for everyone. What really stood out was the friendly and attentive service. The staff were welcoming, professional, and made us feel genuinely appreciated as guests. The cocktails were well-crafted, the burgers and pizzas were delicious, and the overall experience was outstanding. The location is perfect for both tourists exploring the Old Town and locals looking for a quality meal in a vibrant setting. I would highly recommend Theatrum Bar & Food to anyone visiting Split. Great food, great drinks, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Good healthy breakfast menu options at decent prices. I had the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, which was a good portion size and really nice. A large indoor dining area.

Everything at Theatrum was 10/10. Cocktails were excellent. Pizza was excellent. Burger was sublime. The service was great as our waiter was attentive and helpful with questions about the menu. If you’re visiting Split, check it out!!

Orlean was amazing and the food was perfect! BBQ bacon burger with fries. Burger and fries cooked to perfection, and I love their plating. Last night I got a chef's burger to go, that was also very good. I highly recommend this place!

Loved this place. The music was brilliant and the atmosphere was incredible. It was packed with people all night, which only added to the energy and showed just how popular it is. The drinks were great, but what really stood out was the service – Luka in particular was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and helped make the whole experience memorable. One of the highlights of our time in Split. We’d definitely come back.

We arrived one hour late for our reservation, yet the owner still gave us the best table and treated us to delicious homemade liqueur. The food was simply fantastic. We had a wonderful time, and the excellent service certainly made the whole experience even better.

Amazing food in a trendy setting! We had the meat and cheese board as well as a pizza and both were absolutely delicious. The place looked recently renovated in a very trendy way which was still very comfortable! Our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly, and the place also had an extensive drink collection.

Our group met here for our weekly coffee chat. I ordered the English Breakfast and it was so delicious, perfectly prepared and beautiful presentation. Very impressive. We all enjoyed our experience there sitting and chatting.

Great food and friendly staff! The double burger was HUGE and was an awesome treat after doing a walking tour all day. The vegetarian pizza was a nice lighter option, too.

The food was absolutely amazing with huge portions! The mocktails and drinks were really nice as well, would highly recommend coming here! The prices aren’t too high as well, atmosphere was great! The server was really accommodating as well, even offering to turn on our lights to take better photos and offering other sauces to enhance our dining experience. Highly recommend visiting!

Had a great time here! The atmosphere is super nice and the pizza was amazing—thin just right, with crusts that were soft inside and perfectly baked on the outside. Prices are surprisingly reasonable for a spot in the city center. Staff was really friendly too. Definitely worth a visit!

Came here to eat breakfast after a long bus trip to Split. We were seated right away and ordered the scrambled eggs and salmon and the big breakfast. It was incredible! I switched the scrambled eggs with poached ones and it went great together. Definitely recommend it!

It's my go to restaurant for my morning smoke free coffee. Great place to sit and start your morning. Fast WIFI to check the sport scores and receive family updates. Will continue to visit Theatrum while visiting Split. Highly recommended.

The restaurant's ambiance is pleasant, clean and very nicely decorated, which further completes the entire experience.

As soon as I walked in the door, I was struck by his presence: a warm smile, a kind gesture in guiding us to our table, and an immediate sense of welcome that created a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Lovre demonstrated an astonishing knowledge of the menu and wines, clearly and passionately describing each dish and suggesting perfect pairings. Never too intrusive, nor too distant: he masterfully balanced his presence and discretion. He knew how to blend professionalism and friendliness in a natural and authentic way. Lovre isn't just a waiter: he's a perfect ambassador of hospitality.
